Jericho Nursery opened in October 2005 with a few pieces of pottery, some old Mexican furniture and a couple racks of pansies and kale. Over this short period Jericho has become one of Albuquerque’s premier garden centers with a reputation of having quality, selection, service and knowledge like no other nursery in town. What We Offer at Jericho
Jericho offers the city’s most versatile selection of perennial and annual color, an outstanding variety of shade and ornamental trees, fruit trees, evergreens, flowering shrubs and grasses. Jericho is also Albuquerque’s leading sod dealer with several varieties of New Mexico grown sod available.

We also have an interesting array of plants for the adventurous gardener, like winter hardy cactus, Grecian lilies or showy Japanese maples. Perhaps you miss the plants from your youth and would like to try hydrangeas and hostas or maybe you’d like to have crape myrtles or redbuds, we have it all. Let’s not forget our beautifully stocked greenhouse; it’s like walking into the tropics with palms, ferns, bromeliads, citrus and award winning orchids just name a few.
As we grow, we continue to try to meet our customer’s needs so this year we’ve added to our hard goods department to provide everything for the do-it-yourselfer or the professional contractor. We now carry ergonomic garden tools that come with a lifetime guarantee, a wide selection of pruning gear and very helpful pruning accessories to help protect you from the thorny plants like roses or pyracantha.

Have a tough gardening question? Led by local gardening expert Rick Hobson, we have the most knowledgeable group of gardening buffs in town who can answer even the toughest gardening question. Not to mention a tremendous plant “pharmacy” with a large selection of pesticides, herbicides, fertilizers and just about anything else you might need to help your garden along. We also carry many products that are organic and certified organic for the grower or health conscious home gardener.
