Mystic is a young and active girl that is sure to bring a smile to your face. She would love a family that will play with her, go hiking with her, take her to puppy classes and help her become an all around great dog.
Laddie is a sweet girl that is ready to join her forever family. She has been here for over five months and has learned a great deal while here. She goes to doggy day care once a week and has fun playing with the dogs. She is an active girl and loves people and dogs.
Heaven is an affectionate and loving girl who has the best purr in town. She is ok with other cats but seems to be happiest as an only cat. She just wants to find a lap or window to perch and spend her days.
Elberta is a georgous cat with stunning eyes. She is a little shy and independent but likes to be pet once she gets used to her surroundings. She lives with other cats so she would get along well in a multi-feline home.

IN CASE YOUR DOG LIKES TO READ
Our Big Big Book Sale! Saturday and Sunday, November 13 & 14.
If you love books -- and I mean LOTS of books -- then you do NOT want to miss our Big Big Book Sale on Saturday (10am to 6pm) and Sunday (11am to 4pm) , November 13 and 14 at Look What the Cat Dragged In (2570 Camino Entrada).
We have so many cats in need of homes.
Big cats, little cats, cats who climb on rocks; tough cats, sissy cats, even cats with argyle socks.
So we want to make it even easier for you to say YES to having a cat (or another cat!) in your life -- for the month of November, all cat adoption fees will be 50% off.
That means kitten adoptions will drop from $65 to only $32.50, and adult cats will drop from $35 to only $17.50.
Check out all our adoptable cats online, and visit them at the shelter and Petsmart!
HELP IS HERE
SFAS&HS brings you low-cost vet care with our Limited Veterinary Care services.
Part of the mission of the Santa Fe Animal Shelter & Humane Society is to protect the relationship between pets and their people. Those relationships are more fragile than ever because of the economic pressures faced by so many in our community.
Too many companion animals do not have access to basic veterinary care, and this results in the suffering of both animals and the people who love them.
To fulfill our mission and respond to this very real need in our community, SFAS&HS now offers LImited Veterinary Care services at our Spay/Neuter & Wellness Clinic at 2570 Camino Entrada. The clinic is available to income qualified individuals and is open on Mondays and Saturdays from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. To find out more or make an appointment, call 474-6422.

We desperately need foster families for our puppies and kittens! We have many new families of kittens and puppies being surrendered to our shelter.
We want to save their lives! But we need your help to do it. If you can house a few kittens or puppies in your home for two to six weeks, you would be giving them the head start they need at a happy and successful life. Please join us in saving these precious little lives. Call Foster Mom Steph at 983-4309 x128 or email foster@sfhumanesociety.org.

WITH A LITTLE HELP FROM OUR FRIENDS
Santa Fe Tails: because some dogs need a little something extra.
Not every dog in our adoption kennels is perfect. In fact, like us humans, hardly any of them are. But, like us, they can get along pretty well if they have someone to love them and take care of them.
Some dogs, however, need someone to go that extra mile for them. At SFAS&HS, we don't give up on those dogs. To give them the time and special attention they need, we partner with our friends Joey and Hannah at Santa Fe Tails.
Without charging your shelter a dime, Joey and Hannah work with our "special needs" dogs to give them the training, help, and confidence they need to become part of a family. They have saved many lives, and work tirelessly to make our very improvable dogs ready to go home.
Not only do they provide these services for us, they offer a host of pet services to our Santa Fe Community. Want to find out more? Visit their website by clicking here. And take a moment to thank them for all they do for the animals of our community.
