They’re the ladies of Taos Brawl III-D. At the KTAOS Solar Center pavilion Saturday (Nov. 13), the Taos Broads Regional Arm Wrestling League, including Eva Destruction, Sister Bad Habit, Mommie Dearest, Hot Flash, Starlight Starflight and Miss ARMerica, will go “womano a womano,” locking hands and digging in elbows to benefit the University of New Mexico-Taos Literacy Center and Working Class Theatre.

Taos Area Arts & Entertainment

By Tempo staff
Certain places just seem to draw interesting people, and in Taos one of those places for local photographer Robbie Steinbach has been Caffé Tazza at 122 Kit Carson Road. Steinbach will celebrate the people she’s met there in an exhibition of portraits that opens Saturday (Nov. 13) at Wilder Nightingale Fine Art, 119 Kit Carson Road. In fact, to honor the source of her images, Steinbach is planning dual opening receptions from 5-7 p.m. that day at both venues, which are across the street from each other.
