"Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is--His good, pleasing and perfect will."
Live full, Love well, Laugh hard, Learn a lot, and Listen to God If I had to have a personal motto, or statement as to my purpose in life, it would be the above. When I think back to all the "purposes" my life has professed to others; all the various pathways my steps have taken me; all the battles I have either one, or sometimes lost; all the friends and loved ones I have lost track of; and yes, all the mistakes, I have to reflect that God's purposes for me have not always been in sync with my own. As I fast approach the last third of my life here on earth, I must admit that my way has not usually produced the best results. I have also learned (the hard way) that I serve a God who so deeply wants my desires to match His. So my advice to myself, and I suppose to you, the reader, is to: Live, Love, Laugh, and Learn, full, well, and hard; but most of all TO LISTEN TO THE LORD! Rick Trice 9/29/10
