Established in 1997 as a merger of the practices of Dr. Dwight Thibodeaux and Dr. Paul Tachau, Accent on Vision has grown to become one of the largest and most comprehensive Optometric Physician centers in the state.
In addition to the full scope primary eye care offered by Drs. Tachau and Thibodeaux in their 3000 square foot facility, the office also continues its long-standing co-management relationship with Stephen Coleman, M.D., the foremost LASIK vision correction specialist in the Southwest.
The facility has also recently increased its array of diagnostic instrumentation for the management of glaucoma and retinal disease to include ultrasound measurement of corneal thickness and laser scanning of the optic nerve and retinal surface--one of only a handful of optometric practices with this technology in New Mexico.
Additionally, as part of the expansion into a new larger office, the doctors have updated the optical dispensary with new furniture and expanded the designer frame and sunglass lines to include Oakley, Escada, and Tura just to name just a few. An in-house lab, same day service and certified opticians complete the package of comprehensive and convenient optical services.
The staff at Accent on Vision, headed by Practice Administrator AnnaBell Romero, continues to set the bar higher with service and competence rarely seen in the industry.
