Welcome to Cho's Tae Kwon Do New Mexico
We have been training and sharing the benefits of martial arts in Albuquerque for 10 years now, Our state of the art training provides the perfect backdrop for developing the skill and determination needed to succeed in martial arts. Mr. Sean and Mrs. Denise Farrell are Action International Martial Arts Association (A.I.M.A.A.) certified instructors and owners’ of Cho's Tae Kwon Do New Mexico. They are also certified R.A.P.E self-defense instructors.
The Farrell's were trained by Grandmaster Hee II Cho who founded A.I.M.A.A. in 1980. Grandmaster Cho had his World headquarters in Albuquerque, New Mexico from 1997- 2003. In 2003, when Grandmaster Cho moved his headquarters to Hawaii,
Mr. and Mrs. Farrell acquired the New Mexico school.
In Tae Kwon Do, Mr. and Mrs. Farrell have Third Degree Black Belts. They have won many National and International Martial Arts tournaments. In 2004, Mrs. Farrell was the A.I.M.A.A Forms World champion. In addition to Tae Kwon Do, they also have a black belt in another discipline called Wushu.
Mr. and Mrs. Farrell have dedicated their lives to teaching and sharing the power of martial arts with the community. We not only teach technique,"we build character through inner-strengh,courage,vision,respect and discipline, and we are continuously studying Tae Kwon Do".
Were we practice the ITF/WTF style of Tae Kwon Do.
All A.I.M.A.A schools are run under the guidance of World renowned GrandMaster Hee Il Cho 9th Degree.
