Dr. Ole Peloso, who spent 30 years practicing general and vascular surgery in Albuquerque before opening Vein Center of New Mexico in 1998, personally performs all procedures carried out at the facility. Dr. Peloso is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a member of the American College of Phlebology and the American Venous Forum.
The FREE screening event in September 2010 was a success. New patients were identified and a treatment plan was discussed to address their individual needs.

Albuquerque area doctors voted for the city's best physicians and the results are in. For the sixth year of this annual Top Doc survey local doctor's were asked one question: "If you had to refer a loved one to a local doctor other than yourself, to whom would you refer them?" Dr. Peloso was awarded as one of Albuquerque's Top Doc for 2010.
The Vein Center of New Mexico is Nationally Accredited by the Intersocital Commission for the Accreditation of Vascular Laboratories to perform venous testing and is staffed by two vascular technicians.
