Shapiro Bettinger Chase, formed in 1990, is a unique law firm which focuses on representing persons injured or killed by the negligence or wrongdoing of others. We practice throughout New Mexico as well as in federal court.

Dan Shapiro and Carl Bettinger went to medical school before going to law school and have special insight into the ways of doctors, hospitals and nursing homes. Before joining the firm in 2006, Greg Chase spent 23 years representing doctors and hospitals and has unique insights into defendants and their insurance companies. Between the three of them, Dan, Carl and Greg have over 80 years of experience, having represented people in thousands of law suits and having done over 125 jury or judge trials in courtrooms across New Mexico.

In addition to their law school training, Dan, Carl and Greg are each graduates of Gerry Spence's Trial Lawyers College, and Carl participated as teaching staff at the College from 2003-2009.
